· IT IS ESSENTIAL…EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you as students and teachers remember to check and charge your device each night before the next school day. Your battery charge of the device runs an average 7-8 hours. During the school day, you may or maynot have adequate access to electrical outlets to charge your device. REMEMBER….CHECK AND CHARGE!!!!
Note to teachers: In order to take a proactive approach to the possibility of inadequate charged devices among your students, you may want to consider one or any combinations of these potential solutions:
1. Extra extension cords and/or power strips for your classroom to provide electrical access.
2. Alternate lesson plans with non-device requirements
You as students and teachers need to remember that even when the Dell Venue 11 Pro is closed and apparently off, the device may still be active in attempting to locate local wireless networks. This can lead to diminished battery life and limited battery power during the school day.
